Virginia leads WiE’s strategic and organisational development. She is responsible for guiding new ideas and activities, coordination of organisational processes and expansion as well as monitoring WiE's mission and impact. Virginia is a PhD candidate at the Berlin School of Economics and DIW Berlin. Her research interests are labour and gender. She gained 3y of experience in economic consulting as an Economic Analyst at NERA Economic Consulting.
Larissa works on the strategic direction of WiE. She is a PhD researcher at the University of Cologne. Besides her responsibility of WiE's organisational development - she is also involved in events and cooperation with Cologne’s Excellence Cluster ECONtribute. Her research interests include algorithmic fairness in recruiting processes, human capital and labor market related topics. In her free time she loves to dance, kickbox or enjoy Cologne's nightlife.
Yun is an Investment Manager at Livingbridge. She did her MA(Hons) in Economics and Statistics at the University of Edinburgh and obtained her MSc in Economics from LSE with a concentration on Public Economics. Yun is in charge of coordinating social media and the sponsorship scheme, and she is passionate about building up the WiE community. In her free time, she loves to explore all that her current city (London) has to offer, from food to culture to nightlife.
Merve is currently an Economics PhD student at Institute of International Economic Studies at Stockholm University, working on development, gender, and labour economics. At WiE, she is a board member responsible for the content team. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and spends as much time as possible close to the ocean.
